In xenforo 2, users can become members while only users with hotmail accounts can become members. others want to be a member. is it possible?

To only allow certain email providers would require an addon. Once you purchase a XenForo license you can post in the customer support forums and ask about specific addons.

Your statement makes no sense. Anyone can create an account and become a member, you don't need to have a hotmail account.

You need to add your forum user name to your customer account. Then you will be able to post in the customer forums.

Add your forum user there. Then once the system cron runs, you will be able to access customer forums. It can take up to ten minutes.
