XenForo 1.1.5 Released

XenForo 1.1.5 is the most recent maintenance release in the 1.1 series. It fixes several bugs reported since the release of 1.1.4. Some of these are detailed below.

We recommend all customers upgrade to 1.1.5 to benefit from increased stability.

XenForo 1.1.5 also includes an updated importer for IPBoard 3.4 to improve the way posts are imported.

Bug Fixes

Some of the bugs fixed for 1.1.5 include:

• Registration errors displayed on a page without the registration form.
• Thread redirects may be indexed in the search system.
• Threads may not be reindexed properly when moved to a new forum.
• Editor dialogs have been sped up.
• Inline editing of messages has been disabled for Firefox 23 (currently Aurora channel) due to a Firefox bug that prevents it from working.
• Notification count bubbles would not display correctly in all situations.
• The lightbox handles broken images much more gracefully.

More Stable

This release of XenForo 1.1.5 follows our principle that third-point (x.x.X) releases should always be more stable than the preceding version, so for the most part you will not find new features in 1.1.5. Major new features will be reserved for second point versions (x.X.x).

Templates Changed Since 1.1.4

The following templates have been modified since their release in XenForo 1.1.4.

The following changes provide functional improvements and fixes or cosmetic enhancements. We recommend that all users integrate these changes into their own templates if they have previously customized them by using the 'revert' controls. If you have not customized these templates, the changes will be automatically integrated when you upgrade to 1.1.5:

conversation_list_popup_item​

Changed "last reply" to "last message" phrase.​

Changed "last reply" to "last message" phrases.​

events.css​

Added top padding to event content.​

member_view.css​

Renamed the "main" class to "mainProfileColumn" and added profile page-specific event list styling.​

navigation.css​

Added some additional styling to ensure that notification count bubbles display correctly in all scenarios.​

navigation​

Allow notification bubbles to be displayed on navigation tabs without child templates. Add terms and rules links to the help tab links.​

Remove inccorectly applied "PopupClosed" class to the account links.​

panel_scroller.css​

Hide overflow from panels.​

post_delete​

Added missing redirect parameter.​

rating​

Added support for rating microdata.​

share_page.css​

Adjust the Facebook iframe z-index to ensure it displays over the breadcrumbs.​

thread_view​

Improve the display of the "no permission to reply" link when displayed next to the ignored content notice.​

xenforo_overlay.css​

Added explicitly background colors to <option> tags in an overlay to fix a browser bug.​
