Have good experience with this addon and the developer's quick implement of new suggestions. I have high hope for this to be the standard XF survey tool, in par with many Wordpress popular survey tools.
 
I have suggested a few ideas to improve this addon to Veer and this is one of the important ones that's currently missing.
Expand the auto response options for survey takers. Currently, after submitting, we only have the option to display a message.
If a survey has an email/name input fields, we can use it to generate an email to that user with a custom message as well as the submission data for record. This is a must have for crucial survey where the clients are not forum members and need to retain an official record, receipt of their submission.
 
Please provide a function so the options of a question will be based on conditions on what you choose on the previous question.

I'm playing around with logic rules and it's pretty neat to hide/show a question/page.
It may be more complex to implement but would be very good to be able to modify the answers of question B depending on input of question A.
We then are able to create a really survey questionnaire that is truly customized to each user.

Can you add support for dynamic checkbox list?
Example:
Question 1. Please select from the list of auto makers?
[x] Audi
[x] BMW
[ ] Cadilac
[x] Tesla
[ ] Volvo

Question 2. Which car brand that you own?
[ ] Audi
[ ] BMW
[ ] Tesla

So essentially, the choices in question 2 is the selection made in question 1.

As mentioned previously, please submit feature requests in the Suggestions section (and similarly, issues in Bug Reports) on our support forum, with one suggestion per thread. This allows us to properly review, discuss (when needed), plan, and track each request through development.

For more complex suggestions, such as dynamic answer choices, a short description here isn't always enough to determine the expected behavior and cover all use cases. When submitting a suggestion, please include as much detail as possible, including examples, use cases, screenshots, or mockups where helpful.

You're welcome to discuss ideas here, but suggestions posted only in the XenForo resource thread are not considered formally submitted or planned features.

You've already submitted some useful suggestions on our forum, so please continue using the same process for these as well. 👍
 
Hi, Veer!
I am considering Survey Manager for B2B platform where service companies and experts work with clients.

I would like verified providers to use surveys as lead and feedback tools—for example, to collect consultation applications, qualify leads with conditional questions, run NPS surveys after services/webinars, or research demand for new services and event topics.

So, before to buy , could you please clarify:
1. Can non-admin users create and manage their own surveys from the public side, without ACP access?
2. Can each provider be limited to viewing and receiving only their own survey responses?
3. If this is not available now, is a front-end survey creation/management workflow for selected user groups planned or something you would consider?

This would make the add-on very valuable as a native lead-generation tool for business.

Hi @VMgrid, thanks for your interest and for explaining the use case.

Currently, Survey Manager is designed around Admin CP survey creation and management. So, to answer your questions:

1. No, non-admin users cannot currently create or manage their own surveys from the public side. Surveys are created and managed through the Admin CP.

2. Not in the provider-owned model you described. Survey responses can be delivered to configured destinations, including email, conversations, alerts, private report threads, etc., but the current system is not designed to give individual public-side providers their own isolated survey management area where they can access only responses belonging to surveys they created.

3. A permission-controlled frontend survey creation/management system for selected users or user groups would be a significant expansion of the current functionality, but it is certainly an interesting use case that we can consider for future development.

The existing Survey Manager can already handle many of the actual survey workflows you mentioned, including multi-page surveys, conditional logic, NPS, Likert/rating matrices, guest responses, audience criteria, and configurable response delivery. The main missing part for your particular B2B use case is the provider-facing survey creation and management layer.

If this functionality is important to your purchase decision, I would recommend considering the current features only rather than purchasing based on a possible future addition.

Thank you for your clear and honest explanation. So, I understand that the provider-facing workflow is not part of the current Survey Manager scope now. I have to think about addon’ usage in this case.

Anyway, I have prepared a small proposal and will post it in the Suggestions section on your website. Hope you may consider for future updates.
I believe this could add value to Survey Manager and XF’ communities by making it useful not only for administrators, but also for trusted experts, partners without giving them ACP access or compromising moderation and data privacy.

As a recent customer of the Survey Manger, I have provided many suggestions on @Veer website. I hope many of them will make it to the future versions.
I can say that this one has strong potential for a de factor survey addon for XF. Coming from many WordPress forms and survey addons, I'm used to the level of functionalities that they offer and I hope we will soon see them incorporated into Survey Manager.
Veer is very responsive to the feedback. In fact, he built the Likert function very quickly.
As a business user like you, I think our needs are a bit more niche than the general forum users where basic functions are all needed.

That said, the more people use this, the more varied suggestions we can get to make it better.
 
Great! Totally agree. SM is a very promising tool for business users and do hope that new features will be approved in updates.
