Neat idea. This is a useful data structure !

Would it be possible to make this TopList data structure into a thread type, so the content isn't sandboxed away from the forum action ?

Alternatively, could each TopList have an associated discussion thread ?

Can the TopList discussion thread appear directly after the list, as opposed to a in a tab requiring clicking ?

For the demo, can you add a TopList with an associated thread ? I don't see it as an option for the demo account.

This is not planned as it does not fit into the concept of the add-on and it would make it far less compatible with other add-ons.

That feature allows you to quickly add threads into toplists as items, not the other way around.

Currently, only ratings with text are displayed on the top view page. I will add an option to display all ratings.

Yes, you can copy the BB code from the sidebar.

The idea of a TopList having an associated discussion thread is to help drive traffic to the TopList.

Just like the Resource Manager has a discussion thread.
