[XB] Badges 2.4.0

No permission to download
Would be nice to know how display order works. Is "1" the highest, meaning the badge will be displayed first?

I want a certain badge to be displayed first, no matter what. How do I do that?

I want the crown to come first, then the checkmark, then the pipe, then the purple Discord logo last

So, I have display order as follows:
  • Crown: 0
  • Checkmark: 1
  • Pipe: 10
  • Discord (purple): 99

This doesn't seem to be working even after rebuilding the cache.

Hi,

I noticed something regarding the MDI implementation in XB Badges.

The ozzmodz_badges_mdi.less template appears to include almost the entire Material Design Icons set. On my forum, I currently use only 10 different MDI icons for badges, but the addon still loads thousands of MDI class definitions along with the full materialdesignicons-webfont.woff2 file, which is around 361 KB.

Would it be possible to optimize this in a future update, for example by only loading the icons that are actually in use, or by providing a lighter/subset version of the MDI assets?

On larger forums this feels like unnecessary frontend overhead, especially when only a very small number of icons are actually used.

Painbaker updated [XB] Badges: User Rewards, Achievements & Collectible Profile Badges with Automatic Criteria, Tiers, with a new update entry:

2.4.0

🏅 Better Badge Management, Security & Customization!

This update modernizes badge presentation and icon handling, improves administration and export/import workflows, and includes a large set of security, criteria, queue, and badge management fixes.

Important: This version now requires [XB] Core Library.
The Core Library also adds an optional xenBaker...

I get the following even though I've installed the Core Library:
Likely related to StandardLib issue

This is a cool add on.

How many of you have noticed an uptick in user engagement after implementing this?

Thanks.

I installed the new required [XB] Core Library....and this error appears when trying to update:

Could not process OzzModz-Badges-2.4.0.zip: The following requirements for [XB] Badges were not met: [XB] Badges requires [XB] Core Library 1.0.0+.

Same error. I think Painbaker and Xon are working on it. The wording is confusing. I installed no [XB] Core library, only Xon Standard Library.

Maybe this is the issue you have? The requirements for the actual 2.4 release of badges explicitly state:

So if you did not install it probably issues are to be expected.
You need the core library but even with it, the error woody has, happens. It’s to do with some cache issue as when you install or rebuild an add-on, and try installing badges again, it works. Painbaker is aware as you can see from my post following the update.
