I experience this same error occasionally. It seems most regularly to happen after the attachment has been edited and re-uploaded to the post.

Issue unfortunately is still occurring.

Is there anyway for me to revert back to the previous version of this? Before it would intermittently show the error "the requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later."

Now after the latest update, it shows this error every time. Thanks!

Try turning off the "Lightbox displays all attached thumbnails on page" option

Currently this add-on cannot modify the parent (universal) lightbox container options for all attachments on page.
