Now that 1.2 is close I'm assuming that KAM are considering features for future releases.
What we'd find really useful is a frontend editor for the notice system that would allow out mods and non-admin staff to create notices.
What would be even better would be an option to pull a thread into a notice (using the prebreak code like Jaxel does for xenPorta). That way our staff could just edit a thread and have the first part of it as the notice and then a read more link to click through to the thread automatically.
This would basically turn it into a global announcements system as well.
