wording of THREAD

    I just got a young user registering at my website and his post was the following:

    "Hi! I don't know what creating a thread is but I'm doing it"

    I think we should really rename the wording from "Thread" to something else........ THREAD is just simply outdated..... and only known in the world of Forums....

    "Thread" means the same as in german "Thema". [​IMG]
    Just change your phrases.

    yeah, but how many phrases do we have with"thread" ??

    I am not talking about german language this time...... the member asking this question is actually from US.

    Ok, the other word ist "Topic" for this.

    I prefer topic too. 'Discussion' is also an option but it's a long word and not as likable.

    so searching in Phrases for "Thread" will give me all wording which includes the word "Thread" ?
    I want to change this to Topic as Thread is outdated.
