It's been 20 years since we all were concerned over Y2K. I wonder if they miscalculated by 20 years, we will find out shortly...

I started on my present job in 1999 and spent the first few months on Y2K projects, either developing fixes and workarounds or getting suppliers to certify they had done so. Spent New Year's Eve watching for reports of trouble but it was mostly quiet, both at work and in the world.
