some of our users found that XenForo consumes lot of CPU power on their PC. Any idea what their problem might be? Browser is the newest firefox.

With that info there's not much to go on. I've never noticed anyone else complain about pc slowdowns due to a particular website. It's no more intensive than any other site. Can they browse YouTube OK?

Do you have any media on your forum pages like advertisements or movies? Those can spin up the client CPU. Also, addons can possibly add client scripting which may be responsible for the load.

No, we have no advertisments at this points. And only very few users have problems, but some have.
