Why could be the clean editor better than the enriched one?

What are your thoughts about disabling the enriched editor for users on a regular basis but let them enable the enriched one only in their user settings. Here are my ideas:

- cleaner page design
- faster page load / render
- users care about the message content, not about which font and color they choose

I'm always for options, so nothing against the suggestion, but... I don't feel the page speed is slow. So to me, it'd be a matter of personal preference more than page load speed.

I asked the community what the advantage of the clean editor is. There are apparently some users using it instead of the enriched one and I would love to know why.
