Why am I getting this on every visit to XF?

They probably have under attack mode on and probably also have the default 'remember this person clicked the captcha' setting on the default 30 minutes, instead of a day/days

It's pretty bad to see 6000 guests still regardless of that, maybe that number is normal for this site but i have my doubts.

Because XF staff have used the "site's under attack" on cloudflare.
It's going to be annoying for a while because they have over 5k in guests which 3 quarters of them are malicious bots.

Any time I ask AI something about XF it wants to send agents to xenforo.com to find information because its the source of truth about xenforo software. I blocked this behavior quite some time ago.

It would probably reduce traffic on xenforo.com if the software package would ship with more information for LLMs about how XF works.
This is not going to become less I think.

I guess this is related; I'm getting an increasing number of 403 security errors when submitting a post or refreshing a page from Firefox.

That's probably because the software is making making an AJAX request, instead of a full page change ( Xenforo does this in a number of places ) and cloudflare is trying to show you it's stickup page instead.
The answer is to open a new browser and go to the site, you'll see the stickup page. Then go back to the other tab and take the action.

Under attack mode breaks things. What's worse is that Xenforo.com has a very short default interval of remembering captchas. It looks like whoever is in charge of it hasn't tuned it well.
