XF 1.1 Who is Online doesn't work

Hi, I wanted to move the Who is Online box from the sidebar to the bottom of the index page.
In the <xen:hook name="ad_below_content" /> template I copy&pasted the code for this box:

But something doesn't work right, as it always shows 0 users online. If I put it back to the sidebar, it works again. Can anyone help me fixing this?

That only works on the index page. An addon is required to make that code work on other pages. Try this addon:
