A reasons for joining custom user field is very useful for weeding out spammers. I would be wary of putting the bit about being refused for a low quality reason as it may alert spammers to the importance you attach to that response. It could put off legit users.

The other user field I use is to list your gear if it’s appropriate to the forum topic - these together can fly up spammers.
