Which is faster NginX + filecache or APC

Browsing about I had read somewhere that the speed difference between NginX + APC(caching) against filecache is negligible, does anyone have any sauce on this?

Im still using APC for opcode but Ive switched off caching and have instead reverted back to filecache, I can't detect any degradation in performance. Im not even sure how I would bench for stats.

Yes but nginx was designed to serve content exactly like this. Like I say just something I've read which I've put into practice thats had no negative impact so far. Do you know a good way to bench this, could turn out interesting:-)
