Which forum package are you familiar with the most?

Both IPB and MYBB equally so i did not vote as it was not a option.. Using them both currently and have been for almost 4 years now.

My first was hacking Snitz into a portal
Then came MaxWebPortal but I dropped it for SOOPPortal.
SOOPPortal was too expensive due to ASP/SQL Server
So I start dabbing in PHP World.

Started with Drupal, then went to Jaws, then TRIED Joomla, then DragonFly, but bought into e107.
e107 was good, but fell behind in patching. I lost everything recently due to a security hole in e107.

Even when playing with e107 I was getting spun up on VB(3)

Now playing in VB(4) and can't waitn till xF becomes my primary community platform.

I'm familiar with phpBB, SMF, MyBB and a bunch of other random 'no-name' forums. Most of all though, I'm a IPB geek since 2006, and never looked back.

Surprisingly though, I've never used vB at a source level, and only ever moderated forums that use it.

It's never been something I have had to do.

I've always wanted to take a bit more of a look at vBulletin, even if it's just to advance my skills even further, but after all the bad press vB4 got, it turned me off a little bit.
