When creating a link in a thread, no window pops up..?

I tried to edit a thread and when I selected text to make into a link, no window popped up. This is what I saw: http://cl.ly/3Y052S0q3E3g032O222x

Any idea what's going on here?

Is the problem consistent in all browsers?

My first guess is a style problem. Try to reproduce the problem on a default style. Also try disabling your addons. And run a file check:

Admin CP -> Tools -> File Health Check

Just standard troubleshooting stuff.

Ok thanks! I've only just started using the software yesterday so I was not sure how to go about it. Look like it may have been a caching problem with cloudflare as I turned off a few settings and it fixed a few problems.

This is a slightly different problem but I was hoping to not have to create another new thread. I have not been able to reproduce it myself but I had w members tell me that they get this msg error http://ow.ly/i/kUyU but that it doesn't log them out and just says they are not logged in when in fact they are. It merely won't let them to the page. Is it a permissions error on my part or is it something else? If I could reproduce it, that probably would help.

Ideally you should be able to reproduce the error yourself. Otherwise we can only guess. Here are some possibilities:

1) The user was idle for too long and was automatically logged out before they submitted that form. An easy fix is to check Stay logged in when they login.

2) A problem with cookie scope due to an addon or other customization using inconsistent links. Similar to this:
