These are my settings for the message text.

Style Properties: Message Elements -> Message Text -> Size -> 13px

Style Properties: Message Elements -> Message Text -> Font Family -> verdana, geneva, lucida, 'lucida grande', arial, helvetica, sans-serif

Now I'm using Roboto,Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif :)

depends what for desktop or mobile/tablet devices ?

I use either Droid Sans or Open Sans predominantly :)

What do you think about Segoe UI,Frutiger,Frutiger Linotype,Dejavu Sans,Helvetica Neue,Arial,sans-serif ?

Looking nice to me.

*EDIT: oh, it's mostly for Windows... nevermind...

Tahoma is my choice now. Looks great and it's not too big.

No, it's hard to read some words. Like letters are too close. Switched to Trebuchet MS.
