What programming languages are used?

I am hoping to hit buy within the next week or two, and would like to start learning a little programming in the meantime to be able to eventually customize and maintain my message board. Could someone tell me what programming languages are used in the software?

In my opinion you must beginning with PHP and CSS after you can learn more like bootstrap, jQuery and MySQL or MariaDB for databases..

The XenForo codebase uses PHP for the backend processing, as well as HTML, CSS, JavaScript (with jQuery) and a custom XenForo template syntax (based on custom HTML-style tags) for the front end templates.

SQL (MySQL flavour) is used for database queries.
