XF 2.2 What is the format for the POST avatar field in the API?

Can someone please tell me the exact format needed to put for the input field for the POST users/{id}/avatar

I mean, are you supposed to POST the full directory path to the file? Like /public_html/avatars/3425.jpg or what exactly should be POSTed?
