XenForo really doesn't take much to run. You can see their requirements here:

My one forum with 100k monthly impressions and 270k posts, uses only 3gb of diskspace, and 2GB of ram.
My other forum with over 2 million posts uses 20gb of disk space.
So 2-5k visits you should be fine on a standard web hosting plan.
If you are looking for something simple, and easy to set up, I'll recommend Vultr.
