That's the whole point of CDN, end users have to decide if it's worth the money for CDN improvements. If you're a not for profit site, then probably not worth it using a CDN if you use ALOT of bandwidth without income to cover such costs.

 

I use maxcdn, cdn77, cloudflare, incapsula, rackspace cloud, amazon cloud quite a bit and each has their pros and cons. These days I use cdn77 more than maxcdn though.

 

If you use google analytics you can find a break down of visitors by geographic location to get an idea if visitor region matches up with CDN provider's POP/Edge locations
