What does the (44) message I get on each page of my forum mean

This has been there a long time, and I thought it was time that I fixed it.
It shows next to my Favicon
I do have a crappy favicon I made quickly one day.
I plan to get a more profeessonal one.

You mean like this?



It indicates the number of unread notifications or messages or moderator queue items / etc ... it's indicating that there's stuff that needs your attention.

We've fixed it.
AndyB found out that its the number of unmarked conversations in my list.
I need to mark them as read.
Now its down to 39
