What a little help from AI can achieve in photography

This is something I've just started dabbling with in my new CorelDraw graphics suite 2026 using AI.

Original an old Polaroid B/W photo of me when I was about 14 years old with my first dog.

AI corrected and colorized.

This was achieved with a few written instructions to balance the lighting and restore the missing parts that were whited out.

Doing a lot more with it now and getting more well versed in how to give instructions.

That's very impressive, and a lot better than a lot of the AI-assisted reworks I've seen, where the faces change to the extent they look like different people.
