XF 2.2 Weird conversation email

So I don’t know what’s happened here but the forum email (ie the “contact us” email received an email that says - this is your conversation with xxxxx. In the email was a conversation between two members - neither of them me - which should be private. Why did it get emailed?

Check the CC addresses to see the round of recipients. Most likely, one of the participants in the conversation will have replied to the notification email.

It's really weird. No cc addresses. The initial email appears to have come from the forum email to one of the members and the content of the email is one member replying to another member in a private conversation. Subject of the email is: New reply to your conversation.

The conversation doesn't include me - just between the two members. So it's revealed their private conversation.

This happens when one of the email addresses is bounced. Then it sometimes ends up in our inbox.
Take a look under:
your.domain/admin.php?logs/email-bounces
There you will find one of the two participants.

Thanks. How/where do I look that up please? How/why would an email address be bounced? Also not sure what that means - bounced? Thanks.

I looked in ACP - logs - email bounce log. It's not showing anything.

If there's a fault with the email service on either one of them, for example. These issues are usually temporary.

Fake email address.
ask the person with it to use a valid email address.

They've both been members for a while and I asked both of them if they had any email address issues and they said no. One is a hotmail email address the other is gmail.

I guess I'll just ignore it for now then.
