It would be valuable to show basic “views per post” analytics to users, similar to how X and Reddit display impressions. Biff up the thread visitors insights would be nice also, connecting this to the trophy system.
Seeing how many people actually read a post helps members understand what content resonates, improves posting quality, and encourages thoughtful contributions.
This could be paired with a simple trophy/achievement system (e.g., “10k Views”, “Top Post of the Month”) to reward high-impact content.
Personally I got a bit addicted to this on Reddit. Post stuff that people read... Reactions is fun, but it doesn't tell the whole story. So: better feedback loops, higher engagement, and more informative discussions.
