You can embed externally hosted video (YouTube, Vimeo, etc.) if you create a media bb code for it (those two are included anyway).

To upload video to your own site and embed it would require custom development.

It is possible to embed externally hosted videos that are WebM format. For example, Imgur WebM media is supported by this add-on: s9e Media BBCodes pack
