Not planned Version 2.2 -Members changing their name - Make No the default

Whilst I don't think its a good idea to let users change their own member username.
Xenfor are proceeding with it. (OK)
But at least the Default for new forums should be set to No.
That way the admin can change it to Yes if they desire.

Allowing username changes is the default and we're happy with that decision. There are no plans to change this as it stands.

Worth noting that username changes must be approved by a moderator so you already have an element of control straight out of the box.

As ever, if you don't like the defaults you can just change them so this is what we'd recommend here.

Turn it off once and it’s off forever. If it’s set to off from the beginning most admins won’t even know it exists.
