If that works with the latest version of XenForo and able to migrate from vBulletin 5 to XenForo then it may be worth switching.

Not at all.

But this migration is a quite common thing. There's some fellas on here who specialize in doing it, who have done 100s of them. The guy I would have you start a conversation with is @MySiteGuy he will do it for you smoothly, painlessly and professionally, turnkey and at quite reasonable cost.
