Vbulletin makes me feel for a digital script

Isn't that the most inviting and confidence inspiring homepage to have in 2024, when you're supposed to offer homepages as part of your products.

That's pathetic. Vbulletin used to sell their piece of trash product for over 300bucks.
It seems they realize how outdated their thievery hellborn spawn script really is.

180 dollars is still bad, albeit not nearly as bad as theirs 350 dollars derangement deal.

You have woltlab, a much better forum solution much cheaper. Granted, woltlab is an utter failure in terms of community resources. The worst I've seen, relatively.

Vbulletin is an old man that needs to let go.

I’d be more wary of the fact that in 2024 they can’t make their sales page work on a common mobile device.

I have crippling anxiety, and if i served that to a customer I would feel devastated and ripped apart giving a half assed product.
I don't understand, they have multiple teams, but it looks like haunted grounds.
Does anyone at vb believe in that product anymore? They were once the apex predator, now they're chicken nuggets.

They were the apex predator before they were bought out by a company that was openly going to gut the dev team, off-shore them and have whoever was left to code review. And that was in 2009. Everything that happened since stems from that decision.

They in fact decapitated almost all their competitors. IB was a forum conglomerate that bought out the software they and most of their competitors used and gutted it. It instantly gave them a leg up. Smart move on their part.

Very glad vbulletin was assassinated. An overpriced greedy piece of technological dookie, that kept shady practices even before they decided to be stuck in the prehistoric era. Now it's a grave, and I'm dancing on it.
