Post Keyword Alerts - Receive e-mail notifications when new posts match your keywords.

This add-on lets you receive e-mail notifications when new posts match your keywords.

Installation Instructions

1. Go to: Admin > Add-ons > Install/upgrade from archive
   
   Import/install the attached add-on zip
   
   
2. Go to: Admin > Users > User customization > Custom user fields
   
   Add a new editable text field for keywords and Save
   
   
3. Go to: Admin > Setup > Options > Post Keyword Alerts...

This looks like one of the most useful addons around. But I couldn't get it to work.

• Created editable text field (displaying in user preferences).
• Chose that user filed in addon options.
• Gave test user permissions
• test user chose keyword
• Posted test post with keyword.
• No alert

Is that user configured to accept emails? Are you accidentally wrapping the keywords in special characters or using spaces? This is running fine in production, and I ran another test locally moments ago to make sure.

I actually came here to ask what payment is required to remove branding. The last post indicates the resource is no longer available. I think I just downloaded it. Is this addon no longer supported?

The add-on is maintained but it is currently not receiving new features. If you'd like to have new features custom-developed, send an email to dev@vbresults.com.

There should be a branding removal link on the add-on's entry in the admin area. The add-on was restored some time ago which is why you see the download button.
