XF 2.0 Using CSS in Notices Results in Unwanted Line Breaks

Haven't seen this one before, but then again, I haven't use anything besides bold in Notices.

I'm trying to change text color, and it works great, however a line break is inserted both before and after the code, leaving the affected text on a line by itself.

Any ideas?

Use span tags instead of p tags.

Knew it was something super easy that I was missing. P is putting the paragraph in. Duh!
