can anyone tell me if they're seeing a difference between viewing their site at the www version of their domain vs. non www.

example -

http://www.your domain.com/forum look at users logged in, then
http://your domain.com/forum look at users logged in

what could be causing an entirely different set of users in each? There is only one install of xen on the server.

am I the only one who has seen this?

Unless you have configured your server to stop this, by forcing all users to one domain, then this is possible.

Have you tried using .htacess to force the URL and possibly config.php to explicitly set the cookie domain?

Are you logged in as the same user at both URLs? If not then that might result in a different list of online users. For example, it's possible that one user can see invisible users and the other cannot.

no users set to invisible - but I have been logged in on both the www side and non www side with 2 different users. Viewing the online list changes on both sides. Like it may show user 1 on one side, and not on the other.

so in theory users can be seeing 2 users on one side, and logged into the other seeing 430 users online? I don't get it, vb was not like this?

a redirection was setup, only to find it didn't work. Contacted the host, to find an htaccess would have to be changed - which then killed basically every forum link on the board.

If you can make it work - I'm all ears. I'm beyond frustrated right now. I'm ready to delete it off the server and start another install, thinking it's something jacked with my site
