XF 1.1 Users able to choose default style when it's turned off

I ran into an issue today where one of my users had display issues in the forum. Come to find out, he and one other were attempting to use the default style when I had it turned off in the ACP. I have a custom style installed, it's selected as the default in Options > Appearance and under Styles, Default is not selected as "User selectable".

So how are users still able to select the style?

They can't. Not unless they are an admin.

Hmmm. I just tested with "user permission" and was able to see the default style as a selection.

Could this be set in the admincp >> options >> appearance and the default set to default? I'm just guessing here.

Blaze is set as the default style in Options > Appearance. Under Appearance > Styles, Default is unchecked.

I just checked using the permissions of one of the users and I was able to see and select the Default style.

Certain aspects aren't affected when testing user permissions.
