How do I disable the 'Registered' userbanner for members who have other banners already?

Set the option to only display the highest value banner.

Registered is set to 0 and the mods etc. are high values that I have ordered by personal preference.

I still want registered showing for 'normal' members who registered but the ones like myself (admins), mods etc. i don't want registered banner showing.

The advice @Brogan gave you still stands, turn off banner stacking.

Take a look at the options in ACP > Options > User Options (The four options under user banners)

He said "Set the option to only display the highest value banner." He didn't say turn it off.. I actually turned it on as I want to use it but I just don't want the registered to show for others who already have other banners.

You can't alter the behavior for sub sets of members.

The options are global and apply to all members.

"If enabled, all banners applicable to a user will be shown. If disabled, only the highest priority banner will be displayed."

To display the highest priority banner only, it has to be disabled. I'm not sure if you can achieve what you are looking for with it enabled and you would have to leave it enabled if you want other users to stack, this leaves you in a catch 22 situation.
