This add-on does work with Gift Upgrades.

Is there a way I can test gifting a test account that should be blocked from receiving upgrades to see how that looks like?

With the gift addon, it adds an option to fill in the username’s name you want to gift to from the upgrade page.

I’m just wondering if this addon can prevent someone who shouldn’t be able to upgrade from being pulled up, or a way to block it, a message can be displayed “this user cannot be gifted”, with the buttons faded out or something so they can’t proceed.

If the user can't have any user upgrades gifted to them, the button shouldn't show for them. If it doesn't that is something to raise with @Naz

It sounds like it doesn't do what I'm inquiring to then.

Basically Naz's addon adds a gift button to the account upgrade page. I understand they removes the gift icons from the profile menus, but from the direct account upgrade page, people can click the gift box from there, then type in the username of who they want to send it to.

That's the part I wanted to stop, I was already able to remove the button itself from profiles using if conditionals.
