Lack of interest User Upgrade Overhaul

Coming from Invision Forum, the User Upgrade system feels to be really lacking. Granted, they have a whole commerce system, and role memberships are a "perk" you can buy in that system, and XenForo has nothing of the like.

In particular, we're missing:

• Criteria for who is eligible to purchase a user upgrade.
• Prorated upgrades/downgrades between upgrade tiers.
• Upgrade tiers/ladders in general.
• One-time donations (does not convey perks).
• Gifting upgrades.
• Income tracking widget (e.g. if you have a goal of getting $500 in donations every month, each subscription adds their monthly amount to that donation bar and one-time upgrades also add to it.)
• Configuration on how cancelling early is managed:
  • Refunds.
  • Keep perk until end of the monthly period.
  • Gift remaining time to someone else.
• Coupons/Promotional Discounts.
• Pay What You Want.

I'm sure there's some things I'm missing so feel free to toss in some ideas.
