XF 2.2 User promotion

Hello!
if a user log in, he gets the new member role, and if it has the user state valid, so email confirmed, he gets the role Mitglied, or am I wrong?

If the member meets the criteria then they will be promoted, yes.

Something messed up I generated a new account but I get Member but without the valid state, dont know why.

All registered members are automatically added to the Registered user group, regardless whether the state is valid or not.

How I can put them at the registration to the new member group and if he confirm email, he gets the member role?

Change the Registered user group to New Member and set the permissions accordingly.

Then create a new user group called Member and promote them to it.

So call the Member (Mitglied) role New Member (Neues Mitglied) and the other thing around? isnt there a better solution?
