I wish to have a field for each user whereby staff would be able to leave details about the user, such as, among other things, the date that they last had their username changed, and what it was. Currently, no such field exists.
To do this, I looked at creating a Custom User Field, but I want the text field to be hidden from the user.
Would un-selecting "User editable" and "Viewable on profile pages" prevent the user from seeing the contents of the field, or would it just be greyed out? (I only need it for administrators to see the field in the full-profile view in the ACP.)
