User has disappeared from Users List

So weird!

Just now, I made a registered user become Staff. By changing their main usergroup via the dropdown (not a secondary group).

Now they no longer appear in the AdminCP users list:
admin.php?users/list

I can bring up their details by using the filter at the top of the list, but they just aren't listed anymore.

Have you cleared any filters on the user list page?
