XF 1.5 User Group not the same after import

Hello, I just imported my SMF 2.0 forum to Xenforo 1.5.8
It occurred to me that the main user group had been changed on all members to "Registered".

This kind of destroys the whole permission system that we use on my forum.
Short version:
When you register you get and "Registered" user group.
Then you can apply to become full member. What happens is that the "Registered" group is removed and you get "Member".
When I imported this to Xenforo all members now only have "Registered" and not the "Member" group.

Is there a way to solve this?

The way the xF permission system works is all members are part of the Registered group and additional permissions are added to secondary group. It's a bit of a learning curve but once mastered you will see the benefits of doing it the way xF does.

Alright, I can see the beneficial of it as well. The problem is that it replaces the my members first user group without putting it on secondary.

So in my old forum lets say a member have:
Member - Main group
Test - Secondary group

When I import it to xenforo it goes:
Registered - Main group
Test - Secondary group

Is there anyway to make so that it goes:
Registered - Main group
Member - Secondary group
Test - Secondary group

Just so that I do not loose all the members that I have in that group.

You'll just have to go in manually and update them or possibly use the Bath Update Users option in the AdminCP under the Users tab.
