User Confirmation Issue

Okay, I'm having an issue with user confirmation. This problem has happened 3/3 times. Basically, a user will sign up and follow the confirmation link in their email. However, this doesn't seem to confirm their account - even after following the link their account is still listed awaiting email confirmation, and the homepage tells them they need to confirm it again.

What might cause this?

Maybe an incorrect board URL:

Admin CP -> Home -> Options -> Basic Board Information -> Board URL

If this is wrong then the activation links will be wrong and they won't work.

Hey Jake, thanks for the reply.

The Board URL is pointing correctly to the forum list index, website.com/community (no ending slash). My forum index is at website.com/community. I am using Xenporta and the Route Changer addons. My custom routes are index -> community and portal -> index. Perhaps my problem lies there?

In that case "community" is a route and not a directory, so it should be removed from the Board URL.

The Board URL should be:

http://www.website.com

Instead of:

http://www.website.com/community
