XF 1.5 User approval problem

Hello, my settings in ACP > Option > User Registrations are...



The problem is most new registrations go to the 'awaiting approval' list but some don't and when I check I see that the account status has been upgraded to valid without being approved manually.

Any ideas?

Are they registering via an external service such as Facebook?

Not facebook or any social media site but some use Tapatalk, could that be the issue and if so is there a fix except for disabling tapatalk?

I don't know how tapatalk works - you would have to check with them if there is any sort of approval mechanism.

My guess is it bypasses all of the built in XF code so would likely need to be disabled.
