XF 2.0 User and/or forum rights ...

Hello,
following situation.

A forum should be readable by all users, all users (except guests) should be able to create topics, but each user should be able to answer in his own created thread only.

Addendum:
There are other user groups for experts, they have moderator rights, with which these users should be able to discuss only in their own threads.

Unfortunately, I can not set the rights accordingly / correctly to achieve this goal

Any Help?

At the moment it is solved in such a way that the rights of the forum for guests are only set to read and other user groups (except moderators) can only create topics and contributions, but do not see the topics of other users and therefore can not answer in their topics.

Not sure if it will allow exactly what you're looking for, but you might want to take a peek at this, if you haven't already:

Then there's this:

But with this one it would be up to each individual whether to stop others from replying to their threads, so if it's something you want to be able to impose yourself across an entire node or the entire forum, then this won't work.

You could, of course, just set up a node for each individual user, giving only that person and whatever moderator group permission to create and respond to threads, but obviously that would be very labor and time intensive if you already have a larger number of users and or plan on adding a lot - and it just might not jive with the forum structure you want. But it would be viable for a smaller number of people.
