XF 2.2 Use Apple-ID to sign in

Hi,
I'm still using an older version of XenForo. If I upgrade my license and update to the latest version, is it possible to use Apple Sign in? And if so, is it hard to set up?

All begins here i think : https://developer.apple.com/sign-in-with-apple/ but it will not be easy as Google, Microsoft, Facebook...

We had this built out, but it's not ideal.

Apple didn't really seem to plan for web-only registration. So you end up with an weird looking empty icon (since you don't have an app to pull the icon from) when logging in. Also, there were questions about how to merge existing accounts when Apple sign ins use a private email. For those reasons, we kept putting it off and haven't started using it yet.
