OK, so with that critical security flaw, I thought it was time to see about my server. Luckily, I was safe. However, I realized I was on v5.2.6! Now, when I emailed support I got a canned response of "No, we don't have instructions on how to upgrade it and if you are in our upgrade program you will receive the upgrade when we do a major roll out." That helps me how? I'm not even sure if I'm in the program! So, with that aside, I'm not about to sit here and let support decide when I get the latest and greatest.

So, does any body know of a tried and working way of upgrading PHP on a CentOS 5 server on Media Temple hosting? I have full root access and other development tools. Here's a list of those:

    Thanks for any help...
