Unlike button

Back when I was vB, I had a hack which placed an "unlike" next to the "like" button.

I'm wondering how hard it would be to have one here which acts just like the "like" button (tracks unlikes, etc.)

What I envision is an exact duplication of the core "like" button and features.

Might be nice if you could customize the LIKE options ...
ie. use football terms and icons.

Like, Fumble, Touchdown, Hail Mary, etc.

You could add the advanced post rating add on, I believe it has a dislike (and other negative based) button in it.

Jeff, I'd spend the few bucks on that Post Ratings by DI. Very customizable and something that would work well as you can add a 'dislike' as well as some custom options with custom icons like creating a "Titan" rating (standing for "awesome" or something).

I'm back to see if anyone is interested in developing this.

I'm still wanting just an "unlike" button beside the "like" button.

As an added feature, I'd love for a certain number of "unlikes" to block a member from posting for 24 hours.

Luke Foreman's Post Rating system should do what you want for the most part.

By this do you mean you want at the footer of each post "user1, user2, user3, and 4 others like this / user4, user5, user6, and 2 others dislike this" also?

I purchased the Post Rating addon but it did a bit more than I'd like and changed the appearance of the core Like feature

I'd really like a like/dislike post button too. Along with a like/dislike thread button.

I made some mock ups while i was bored.





Hope someone makes one in the future.
