XF 2.3 Unfurled youtube info is in German. We're in the US, so want English

I would imagine that this topic has been discussed but my searches have been fruitless. We're running the latest Xenforo with the Novus interface added. All other unfurled data displays in English but the youtube data displays in German. Is there a fix for this?

The Xenforo server our site resides on apparently is in a country that uses the German Language.

Members are using Youtube.com. We're located in the USA but our Xenforo server apparently is in a country that uses the German language.

if you have access to a US based server, you can try installing a proxy on it and try setting it up on your server.

i have faced this issue in past when i was hosted in europe.

All of the information XenForo needs to connect to your database server is located in the src/config.php file.

];

Thanks, everyone. Somebody from Xenforo is going to do the fix for us. We're on their server as opposed to having our own.

I had to have Xenforo staff fix it. Now we don't get the jibberish in German but get a Youtube canned statement that's the same on all of them... but since we're operating in English, the canned statement is an improvement.

This is what we see now: "Enjoy the videos you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube."
