example (click through to this thread and see the embedded post with a code block):

it's not possible to scroll the code block to the right despite it having scroll bars.

perhaps as designed as the whole unfurl'ed area is clickable, but that's the 3rd time this week i tried to do that.
bad ux? bad design? stupid user?

one or more of those is true :D
You embedded a post that has an embedded another post.
The unfurl is just a preview and doesn't load the functional content. (scrolls bars don't work in preview content)

I should have unfurl=false this thread post1. edited. Just click in to that thread where it is visible.

I understand it is a preview. But the scrollbars give a false ux. Scrollbars mean it should move. it doesn't move. Human Factors.

Thank you for reporting this issue. This is the same problem as an earlier report: code blocks in an embedded post or thread preview show a scrollbar, but the whole preview is one clickable link, so the scrollbar can't be used. That report is already confirmed and still open, so we'll track it there.
