XF 1.3 Unable to post links with editor option in quick reply...

At the bottom of the threads, using what I call the "quick reply" box, I'm dealing with an issue where I can't post links.

If I highlight a phrase, click the option to insert a link, paste the link in the box, it's not turning into a hyperlink but remains as regular text.

The link only becomes active once the post is submitted, or previewed.

If you click the BB Code Editor icon, are the URL tags present?

It doesn't become active when post is submitted or when it's previewed.

I'm not sure if we're on the same page with the "BB Code Editor icon." Image, please? (Assume we refer to an icon with different terminology.)

If I edit the post, repeat the same process that would normally work, it does insert the link. When I click edit, I don't see the BB code like I do editing a post with twitter embedded [media]

@Brogan The answer is no. When I click on the BB Code editor icon the BB codes do not show up.

Call it a mind fart...sorry.

Yes, to both. I've got JavaScript running a rotating banner/logo in my header.

My add-ons are attached.

The first step would be to disable all add-ons and remove any custom JavaScript and test again.

If it works then it's a case of re-enabling things one at a time until the problem reoccurs to determine what's causing it.
